a symphony of honking car horns and high-pitched screams alerted me of our new president.
berkeley and oakland were alive as i have never seen or heard before.
it felt as though the entire world was celebrating.
the tears rolled down my face out of absolute excitement.
the relief i felt was unimaginable.
i felt like i was sighing with the entire world.
and it wasn’t because i feel some kind of irrational patriotism,
but rather, because the entire world will be a safer place
with barack hussein obama as the united states president.
whew!
next on the agenda: kyoto treaty. sign it already.
