the healthcare system may not be perfect, but i am trusting my doctors and nurses enough today, to allow them to cut me open, take stuff out and sew me back together again, tomorrow. it was a big decision to make, but i made it, and now i can only imagine the great things that will come from it. the only outcome i can imagine is a positive one. the only future for me is a happy and healthy one.
thoroughly enjoying the fact that my surgery is happening at the same time that obama swears in. new world, new life. seems serendipitous.
